On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army, a youth carnival march was held today, organized by the Damascus branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union.
The march, which started in front of Al Hayat Hospital in the Mazraa area, passed through Sabaa Bahrat Square and reached the Governorate Square, featured a musical performance of patriotic songs presented by Marasem Al Shabiba Ensemble.
The designated head of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Ali al-Abbas, indicated in a statement to SANA’s delegate that the event comes within a group of activities and events carried out by youth cadres on the occasion of the Syrian Arab Army Day, which has become a symbol of sacrifice and redemption, especially during its response to the terrorist war on Syria, in which it made huge sacrifices. The youth of the homeland represented the true meaning of the youth who defended their homeland and loved their land.
The Secretary of the Damascus Branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Ahed Kanhoush, stated in a similar statement that the march is a token of love and loyalty to our heroic army, which has been steadfast and patient on the side of the Syrian people throughout the period of the terrorist war against Syria and has dropped all attempts to undermine Syria and divert it from the right path.
During statements to SANA, a number of young people confirmed that their participation in the march is part of a response to loyalty to their heroic army, as Muhammad Saab saw that today is a holiday for all Syrians because the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army were a model of giving, without which we would not exist today, while Saeed Rajab affirmed that it is a duty for all Syrians. As well as the youth participating in the celebration of this national day in all governorates, as an expression of the love, pride and loyalty that the Syrians have for their heroic army.
Judy Abeda confirmed that she is participating in the march in fulfillment of the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army who wrote the most wonderful epics of heroism and did not falter in their resolve or falter in defending their homeland, while Ghazal Mahmoud indicated that the event represents a victory for Syria, which would not have been possible without the sacrifices of its army’s heroes and a treaty from Syria’s youth that they will remain loyal to the heroes the army and their country.
Sidra Hamida believed that the army, which is going on in this war until today to liberate every inch of the homeland’s lands from terrorism, deserves to say to it our word today and express to it the pride of Syria’s youth in it, while Ghassan Dahi explained that the army’s feast, which includes in its ranks our people, our fathers and our brothers is an occasion A patriotism to celebrate its heroes and their sacrifices, congratulating the country and the Syrian people with this army, which is achieving victory after another.
