Eichenried - The Freising State Building Authority is renovating the pedestrian and cycle path along the B 388 east and west of Eichenried from Monday, August 2nd.

This is announced by the authority.

Breakouts, longitudinal and transverse cracks and broken edges on the edge of the road should then be a thing of the past.

The approximately 2.2 km long rehabilitation section is divided into three sections.

In the west, the first section, around 1.1 kilometers long, begins at Zengermoos and extends to Waldstrasse.

The cycle path will be given a new asphalt surface and, in some cases, a new base course.

The second section, around 500 meters long, stretches from just before the Hotel Jagdschlössl to the Brummer butcher's shop, the third from the eastern exit of Eichenried to Greißlstrasse.

In these two areas, the cycle path will be given a new surface layer.

Work begins on Monday, August 2nd and is expected to last through August 27th.

The path will be completely closed during the work, a diversion for cyclists is signposted.

It leads over the back road network.

Two bus stops will also be relocated during the construction work: The “Waldstraße” stop west of Eichenried in the direction of Ismaning will move a few meters in the direction of the traffic island;

and the stop “Gh.

Pschorrschwaige ”is temporarily about 120 meters further west.

The bus stops in the direction of Erding remain unchanged.
