How did they arrive
Boca started the season focused on the Copa Libertadores and suffered a controversial elimination in the round of 16 at the hands of Atlético Mineiro, which left important consequences.
At the domestic level, he made his debut in Santa Fe with an alternative team and drew with Unión (1-1), then when he returned from Belo Horizonte his professional team was ordered into isolation and had to play with the youth of the Reserve against Banfield (0- 0) and San Lorenzo (0-2), so that it has two points out of nine possible.
Among these inconveniences was added another internal problem, the decision of the Colombian striker Sebastián Villa, one of the team's figures, to leave training to pressure with a transfer to Bruges of Belgium after Boca abandoned the proposal for considering the 7 million insufficient dollars offered by the European club.

So Boca will go out to play in Córdoba with the best available but without Villa, and with the probable presence of former San Lorenzo, Juan Edgardo Ramírez, his latest acquisition, while the previous one, the Peruvian Luis Advíncula, will accompany the delegation but it will not be taken into account.
Coach Miguel Ángel Russo will maintain the base he used against Mineiro, with the income of Alan Varela for Esteban Rolón and the promising Aaron Molinas in Villa's place, although with different characteristics since the 20-year-old is a generator of the game. and not a net striker like the Colombian.
In defense it is very likely that Marcos Rojo will be preserved for the Superclásico and in his place the Peruvian Carlos Zambrano would enter, and up front there is another doubt between the youthful Luis Vázquez and the Cordovan Cristian Pavón, who seems to be passing through his last days in the club (would be transferred to Europe), while Norberto Briasco is confirmed.
Boca will try to get its first win in Córdoba against a rival that historically tends to complicate it and immediately attend the Superclásico that it will cheer on with River next Wednesday for the round of 16 of the Argentine Cup.
His rival, Talleres, is a hymn to irregularity, as it usually happens at every start of a tournament, although always and little by little the Uruguayan coach Alexander "Cacique" Medina manages to form competitive teams.

The "T" began its campaign with a defeat against Newell's (3-2), then recovered with a victory against Arsenal (2-0) and again declined in its performance to lose in Santiago del Estero with Central Córdoba (2- 1).
To receive Boca, the Talleres coach will put the same team that beat Arsenal, with the novelty of the presence of forward Héctor Fértoli (acquired from Racing) among the substitutes.
In the last match they played between the two, in "La Bombonera", Talleres won 2-1 with goals from Diego Valoyes and Carlos Auzqui, while for Boca the Uruguayan Michael Santos scored against his goal, precisely all the goals marked by the "trident" that the group "albiazul" will present this Sunday.
In March, with a goal on time from Diego Valoyes, Talleres beat Boca in La Bombonera.

At Kempes they met for the last time in December last year, for the Maradona Cup, and the match ended tied without goals.
The history marks that they faced each other 53 times, with 22 wins for Boca, 13 Talleres victories and 18 draws.
