The Unpackaged Initiative in Poing has taken a big step towards achieving this goal: the cooperative was founded.

Poing - Creating a place for sustainable consumption that is as plastic-free as possible: That is the vision of the Unpacked Poing initiative. On the way to implementation, she has now come a big step further with the establishment of a cooperative. This is still being legally checked, from autumn the Unpacked-Laden Poing cooperative will be official, announced Maria Lindner. She has been appointed chairman by the eleven founding members. Your deputies are Tobias Fuchs and Annika Krätschmer. The supervisory board consists of Veronika Molin (chairwoman), Brigitte Freund (deputy chairwoman), Sandra Fuchs, Markus Brennhäußer, Lotte Bitsch and Viktoria Walz. Daniela Morale and Philip Knössel complete the ranks of the founding members.
Maria Lindner announces that the unpackaged shop with café will open “by April 2022 at the latest”.
The search for premises is as good as complete.
A wide range of food, hygiene articles and cosmetics are to be offered.
“Regional, seasonal, if possible organic and fair trade.” The motto of the Unpacked Cooperative: “Fair for everyone!”.
After the establishment, it should be possible for interested parties to become a member of the cooperative by purchasing shares from around mid-August.
One part is 200 euros.
"The shares make up the equity of the cooperative", is explained on the website www.unverpackt-poing.de: "We will need the majority of the shares for equipping the shop, the café and the initial equipment of the goods."
Members have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of the Poinger Unpacked Shop.
After Zorneding, this will be the second of its kind in the Ebersberg district.
For the implementation, the Poinger Initiative has formed eight working groups in which you can participate: Coordination, Shop & Café, Cooperative, Real Estate & Craftsmen, Finance, Marketing, IT & Infrastructure, Flexteam.
