A compromise on health has been reached: the government has approved the state budget

The government this morning (Monday) approved the state budget for the years 2022-2021.
After a full day of marathon discussions, the cabinet meeting was adjourned at the beginning of the night, and continued with talks by Ministry of Finance officials with the professional bodies in the various ministries.
During the talks, a compromise was reached on the health budget, one of the main mines on the way to agreements.
As part of the agreements with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance agreed to add another billion shekels to the budget, as demanded by Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, and in total the Ministry of Health will include an additional two billion shekels, which will be used to set corona standards.
The addition added to health during the night will likely necessitate cuts and cuts from other offices.
