Starnberg / Wangen
- An accident and a medical emergency caused traffic jams on the A95 between the Starnberg triangle and Munich on Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., a woman from Munich (22) was driving her BMW a little too fast in heavy rain, skidded, crashed into a guardrail and the destroyed car was left on the hard shoulder - the force was so great that a front wheel was torn off . Damage to the car: around 15,000 euros. The woman came to the hospital slightly injured, the fire departments Wangen, Hohenschäftlarn, Neufahrn, Starnberg and Berg were in action. A fine procedure will be initiated against the woman, said the traffic police.
An hour later and on the road south, a man from Munich (73) got together at the wheel while driving, but his wife was able to bring the VW bus to a safe stop. A helicopter was requested to treat the man, and the motorway would be closed for half an hour to land. The traffic jam reached back to Luise-Kiesselbach-Platz. The professional fire brigade and the Starnberg fire brigade secured the site of the accident.
