- Six people were injured on Friday in an accident on the A 92 at the Erding junction, three of them seriously.

According to the first findings of the police, there was a backlog in the left lane in the direction of Deggendorf.

Three cars had to brake to a standstill due to traffic.

A subsequent driver apparently did not notice this in time and drove up at high speed.

Due to the force of the impact, the vehicles standing at the end of the traffic jam were pushed into one another or thrown away.

The seriously injured people were flown to surrounding clinics.

To rescue the injured, the A 92 in the direction of Deggendorf had to be completely closed.

The motorway was opened again at around 9:30 p.m.

Despite the closure and the high volume of traffic, the traffic jam on the A 92 was limited, according to the Freising traffic police.

At around 10 p.m., the traffic was again completely trouble-free.

After an accident on the A92: Several follow-up assignments in a traffic jam

In the traffic jam, however, there were several follow-up missions.

Mostly these are breakdown vehicles.

In one case, a vehicle fire had to be assumed.

However, it turned out that it was simply an overheated and therefore steamy engine.

The traffic was diverted by forces from the fire brigade and the Freising motorway maintenance facility at the Erding junction.

Six ambulances were used at the accident site to take care of the injured.

In addition, three rescue helicopters landed.

At the scene of the accident there were three vehicles from the Freising traffic police, an expert, the Freising autobahn maintenance department and forces from the Freising, Eitting and Erding fire departments.
