Around 1 p.m., the Viechtach police station received a call: Six people are chugging in a car between Viechtach and Höllensteinsee on the Schwarzen Regen.

The family was stopped because the use of motorized boats on the Black Rain is forbidden for private individuals, according to the police.

The man promptly complied with the request to leave the river.

Nevertheless, he is now being investigated for several violations of water and shipping law.
