Hama Oil Company has completed the production cycle of the current season by squeezing about 2,900 tons of cotton seeds.
The director of the company, Engineer Abdul Majeed Qilfa, said in a statement to SANA reporter that this season witnessed a remarkable improvement in the quality of the product, as the entire product was marketed to the Syrian Trade and Military Social Establishment, the halls of the Ministry of Industry and the company’s sales center.
Kelfa pointed out that the company has made improvements to the production lines, especially engineering modifications to the line to remove the smell, and a new line of shaving has been installed with a capacity of 100 tons per day, which raised the level of quality of the material and thus increased the demand for it in the local market. Oil was produced in sizes 2 and 4 liters to reach the largest segment of citizens at a reduced price of 30 percent from the private sector market.
He pointed out that approximately 2,200 tons of cake were produced, and the entire product was marketed to the Hama Feed Establishment to be distributed within the feed rations.
