The Israeli Foreign Ministry regretted Monday August 2 the decision of Brussels to send the negotiator of the European Union in charge of the Iranian nuclear file, Enrique Mora, to the investiture of the new Iranian president Ebrahim Raïssi.
“
The participation of a European representative in this ceremony comes just after Iran killed two civilians, one of them from a member country of the European Union, in an act of terrorism of State against a civilian ship,
”the Israeli ministry said in a statement.
This decision is "
surprising and shows an error in judgment,
" he added.
