He called for "a return to normality as soon as possible", which was also "constitutionally required".
Lauterbach countered that there are now “a lot of studies” that have proven the effectiveness of individual measures such as the requirement to wear a mask.
The federal government is not acting without a basis here.
Lauterbach gives three reasons against the lifting of corona measures.
On the one hand, there are also younger people who have been vaccinated with risk factors that could die.
In addition, at least five to ten percent of those suffering from Corona would have to deal with Long Covid.
After all, you would have breakthrough infections in the elderly who were vaccinated earlier this year.
Without a booster vaccination, they are at great risk if the number of cases is high.
