The Secretary for Civil Service, Nie Dequan, said that the number of civil servants vaccinated has been increasing. From the perspective of vaccination leave applications, 70 adults have already received the first shot.
The government implemented vaccines to replace regular tests on front-line employees since May 31, and then expanded to all front-line employees, about 115,000.
However, he pointed out that in order to ensure the establishment of a stronger anti-epidemic barrier, government employees are obliged to take the initiative to vaccinate to ensure that they do not pose health risks to citizens and colleagues.
