Seine-Saint-Denis: around fifteen graves in the Stains cemetery desecrated

This is not the first time that this cemetery has been the target of damage. The town hall has also recently voted to raise the walls and install cameras.


The communal cemetery of Stains, in Seine-Saint-Denis, has been degraded,

About fifteen tombstones were damaged or even broken, as shown in the photos posted on Facebook by Azzédine Taïbi, the PCF mayor of Stains.

No religion or community was targeted in particular, the police told the regional daily.

“On behalf of the municipality, I want here to express my anger and say how shocked I am to see such despicable, unspeakable and unacceptable acts.

I strongly condemn the perpetrators of these acts and I hope that the current investigation will allow us to find the culprits and bring them to justice, ”

wrote the city councilor on the social network.

And to add that "

the municipality has decided to file a complaint and will take all the necessary steps to accompany and support the families victims of these serious acts of desecration

".

An investigation was opened and entrusted to the local police station.
