Nie Dequan: Use public money to fund the detection of violations of the principle of resource use
The government requires civil servants, the Hospital Authority, institutions, and teaching staff to receive injections, otherwise they will have to be tested out of working hours every two weeks.
Nie Dequan believes that using public funds to fund testing for people who have not received injections is not in line with the principle of resource use; allowing them to be tested during their duty is also unfair to colleagues who have been vaccinated. Starting from next month, unless a doctor proves that their physical condition does not allow them, they will have to pay at their own expense. Inspection every two weeks.

Ling Xiaozhi retorted that the increasing vaccination rate of HA staff reflects the effectiveness of the interpretation work. On the contrary, the mandatory injection by the authorities is a "skip" and is too rapid.
He also said that the injection is a medical decision, and he should have the right to refuse, requiring medical staff to take the test at their own expense outside of working hours, which also undermined the morale of colleagues, and was disappointed and regretful about the decision.
The Hospital Authority stated that the arrangement applies to all full-time and part-time staff. The current overall staff vaccination rate is 67%, among which the vaccination rate for doctors is close to 90%, nurses and full-time medical staff are both 65%, and clinical support staff has also exceeded 70%.
