A mother and her daughter, who were in front of a bus stop, were run over by an individual who deliberately hit them, a police source said on Monday.

Several witnesses told the police that they saw the driver spontaneously rushing towards the two women before fleeing in his Peugeot 308. Quickly alerted, the emergency services took care of the two victims in serious condition.
The 14-year-old girl was transported to Beaujon hospital in Clichy.
She is in a state of absolute emergency.
His mother, whose prognosis is vital, was hospitalized at the Argenteuil hospital.

An investigation was opened and entrusted to the departmental security of Val-d'Oise. The individual implicated is said to be a man in his twenties and of North African origin. At this stage he has not been arrested or even formally identified. Investigations are continuing.
