Everyone agrees on the necessity of the bike path on the Dorfener Aldi.
However, there was no need for the building committee to take the right steps.
Dorfen
- Aldi is building new at the old location in Dorfen. "The old building is dilapidated," said building authority manager Franz Wandinger to the city councilors in the building and transport committee. In the course of this, the sales area will be increased from almost 1,000 to 1,200 square meters. The committee decided to change the Galgenwiese development plan accordingly. At the same time, the prerequisites for a footpath and cycle path between the area with several hypermarkets and the rear railway path will be created.
The city wants to conclude a license agreement with the property owner, which enables this route on the property boundary between Aldi and Rewe.
Ulli Frank-Mayer (GAL) initiated the discussion during the meeting.
“We absolutely need a connection to the Galgenwiese.
We should pull out all the stops to make this possible, ”she said.
The building authority manager reported positive preliminary discussions.
"The owners have indicated that a path can be built here, but not entered in the land register or officially dedicated," said Wandinger.
A private law contract between the city and the owners is a good alternative.
"That would be a reduction in the value of the property," said Vice Mayor Ludwig Rudolf (CSU), who was in charge of the consultation on this point. Mayor Heinz Grundner (CSU) was excluded because of personal involvement. Martin Heilmeier (LDW) nevertheless applied for the path to be included in the development plan. Wandinger advised against this. “The owner does not want to commit himself.” With a contract, the city would, in his words, take a pragmatic and promising negotiating position. With such a usage agreement, the pavement and bike path could be secured for several years, if not even 10 to 20 years.
"If you use a crowbar, you know that the negotiations have failed," said Wandinger.
Thought through to the end, this would amount to expropriation proceedings and that, according to the building authority manager, would be doomed to failure.
“The goal has to be the way,” said Rudolf.
After the development plan changes, PV systems will be permitted on the site and e-charging stations will also be added.
“There will be no apartments here,” said Wandinger.
