According to sources, the 23-month-old boy involved had a fever earlier and was taken by his mother to the Accident and Emergency Department of Caritas Medical Hospital at about 10 pm on August 1.
After diagnosis and treatment, the baby boy was admitted to the hospital at about 2:30 am the next morning, but due to the epidemic situation, his mother could not accompany him to stay overnight.
At about 4 o'clock this afternoon, when the doctor examined the baby boy's body, he found multiple bruises on the boy's body. Among them, there were bite marks on the right shoulder and the back of the left thigh, but they were suspected to be old marks.
The doctor felt that the incident was suspicious, and it had to do with the social and industrial affairs in the hospital.
In the meantime, the social worker tried to contact the mother of the baby boy to no avail, and the doctor decided to call the police at about 5 pm.
Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate, the case was temporarily listed as child abuse, and the cause of the incident is being investigated.
