The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 51 new infections and 7 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesman, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, stated that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 284,362, and the total number of deaths has reached 16,535.
Mujahid indicated that 560 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovered to 231,259 people so far.
