Brazil records more than 15,000 cases of coronavirus, and Mexico has more than 6,500

Brazil recorded 15,143 new infections and 389 deaths from the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

According to data from the Brazilian Ministry of Health, the total number of HIV infections in the country has reached 19,953,501, while the total number of deaths has reached 557,223.

In Mexico, the total number of HIV infections rose to 2,891,498, after 6,506 new infections were recorded, while the number of deaths reached 241,279 after 245 new deaths were recorded.

In China, the National Health Committee announced 90 new cases of corona, compared to 98 cases the day before, noting that 61 of the new infections were local.

This brings the total number of HIV infections in mainland China to 93,193, while the number of deaths remains stable at 4,636 deaths, according to the committee.

In this context, Li Tao, a local official in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, announced that the city, where the outbreak of the Corona epidemic began in the country in late 2019, will subject all its residents to tests to ensure that they are not infected with Corona, after three local cases of infection with the virus were recorded yesterday in the city.
