Al-Hasakah-SANA
The Directorate of Education in Al-Hasakah Governorate has completed the installation of 22 prefabricated classrooms in the city of Al-Hasakah, in preparation for the upcoming school year to accommodate the largest possible number of students.
The Director of Education, Elham Sourkhan, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the Buildings Department in Al-Hasakah has begun the installation of 12 prefabricated classrooms in the city of Qamishli, and it is expected that their installation will be completed in the near future to be put into service with the start of the new school year and to reduce overcrowding within the classrooms. Especially after the “Qasd” militia seized most of the schools in its areas of control and turned some of them into headquarters.
During the past years, the Directorate of Education in Al-Hasakah installed 91 prefabricated classrooms in the city's schools to solve the problem of overcrowding and reduce the number of students in one classroom.
