Paris: a man perishes in the fire of his apartment

The fire broke out this Tuesday morning, very early, at 5:30 am, in a building located on avenue Vion-Whitcombe, in the Ranelagh district (XVI) in Paris.

About fifty firefighters from the BSPP (Paris Fire Brigade) were mobilized, with ten devices and a lance.

The fire broke out in one of the apartments on the 4th floor of this plush stone building.

It took the firefighters an hour to bring the fire under control.

The soldiers took a victim out of the damaged apartment.

He is a 90-year-old man.

In cardiopulmonary arrest, he died on the spot.
