New York-Sana

The American newspaper, The Washington Post, revealed an expected clash between the administration of President Joe Biden and the American Civil Liberties Union, following the decision to extend health rules to exclude immigrants from the southwestern border of the United States.

The newspaper pointed out that a judicial confrontation will occur between the US administration and the Freedom Union, where the two parties will return to the Federal Court to demand a ruling on the matter after the decision to extend the health rules ended the negotiations in which the union pressed to end the continuous expulsion of immigrant families.

Lawyers for the Liberties Union and the Biden administration said in a joint lawsuit with the District of Columbia that the two sides' discussions to try to resolve or narrow the dispute in this case reached a dead end, so the two sides are seeking to resume litigation over the case.

The new disagreements are putting the Biden administration under increasing pressure, given the latter's promises to end his predecessor's abusive immigration policies.
