On August 3, 2019, a 21-year-old man shot dead 23 people, including eight Mexicans and a majority of "

", in El Paso.
The killer had driven more than ten hours to reach this city located on the border with Mexico, whose population is 81% Hispanic.

" denouncing a "
Hispanic invasion of Texas
".
