The Syrian-Venezuelan Friendship Committee in the People's Assembly discussed with Jose Gregorio Piomorji Musatis, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus, ways to strengthen and develop relations in various fields in the interest of the two friendly peoples.
The head and members of the committee pointed to the importance of the deep-rooted Syrian-Venezuelan relations and the need to intensify parliamentary visits and exchange experiences between the two countries, calling for the opening of joint cultural centers and the revitalization of scientific exchange through student scholarships and the formation of a council for businessmen in both countries.
For his part, Ambassador Biomorji stressed the importance of increasing the Venezuelan-Syrian cooperation and intensifying joint activities and events to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two peoples, expressing his country's readiness to contribute to the reconstruction and construction phase in Syria.
