Maintenance workshops in the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate have completed the maintenance of 6 additional water wells in the Allouk Water Project, bringing the total working wells to 16 since the restart of the Allouk station early this week.
The director of the foundation, Engineer Mahmoud El-Okla, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the maintenance workshops completed the maintenance of the six wells, which focused on electrical equipment and submersibles that were previously stolen.
Al-Okla pointed out that last night, the Foundation pumped water to Al-Nashwa neighborhoods, villas and youth housing, after an interruption of nearly 40 days, and the water will be pumped to the subscribers sequentially according to the rationing program implemented by the Foundation.
It is noteworthy that the Allouk project includes 34 wells and 12 horizontal pumps, and the water produced from it, under normal conditions, feeds the neighborhoods of the city of Hasaka according to 5 sectors and at a rate of water pumping for a full day for each sector.
