The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs closed during the past month 100 commercial activities, in addition to organizing 373 judicial seizures and seizure samples, while the settlement was made on 158 seizures.
Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, indicated in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that 400 patrols of consumer protection elements were conducted, which organized 272 judicial seizures and 65 sample seizures, including 8 identical samples, 27 violations and 30 under analysis.
He pointed out that the seizures were divided into not declaring prices, not presenting invoices, refraining from selling, selling at an extra price, service charges, seizures of specifications and data, fraud and fraud, in addition to seizures of meat, records of bakeries, fuel records, and trade in flour and bread.
Al-Youssef indicated that work is underway to tighten control in various important sectors, especially subsidized materials such as fuels and bakeries, so five controls were organized regarding the trade in flour and the trade in bread, indicating that the quantity of ration flour reserved for the same period amounted to 400 kg, in addition to seizing 9812 liters of diesel and 23929 liters of gasoline. .
