The graduation ceremony of the Dietramszeller high school graduates was under the motto “Cheers for us!”.
The 15 girls and 21 boys had every reason to be proud of themselves.
"I pay you the highest respect," praised the headmistress Susanne Falkenhahn.
Dietramszell - Despite the difficult conditions due to the corona pandemic, 92 percent passed the examination for the qualifying secondary school diploma.
As the best in class, Falkenhahn highlighted Josephine Böhm from 9a with a grade point average of 1.2 and Sebastian Wiedenbauer (“Finally a boy!”) From 9b with a 1.5.

The religion teachers Karin Simon and Annemarie Wirth-Napiletzki compared in a little sketch the special challenges of the school year with the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa: Although after twelve years the foundation of the building sagged, “an actually crooked thing turned into a splendid one in the end Artwork developed ”. Class leader Jakob Degele emphasized: "I take my hat off to you, how disciplined and great you did it." From Mardi Gras to Whitsun, he explained, the young people had face-to-face classes throughout - but each had a group in a classroom without a teacher in video lessons.
The students later showed in a video with pictures from the past three years of school that it was sometimes a bit funnier.

Mayor Josef Hauser himself went to school in Dietramszell and is now happy about the qualifications of his son Christopher.
"You have now set the first stone of your professional foundation," he said in his greeting.
"Now you can pause, linger, look back briefly and really enjoy yourself."
Half of them want to go to secondary school
However, none of the young people took too much time to rest. About half said at the ceremonial handover of certificates that they wanted to go to secondary school from September. The rest of them already have an apprenticeship contract under their belt. The craft was very popular: “I'm going to be a heating engineer,” announced four of the boys. For girls, a florist or housekeeper are popular career goals.
Between the greetings and the awarding of certificates, Tobias Seidl, Maximilian Singhammer and Afra Geiger presented musical interludes on the horn, trombone and clarinet.
The class representatives Sara Popovic and Xavier Kulas caused laughter, who declared: “First we have to congratulate ourselves.” Simon Loipolder and Franziska Meyr took on the humorous appreciation of the teachers involved.
And in his self-composed poem, Xaver Wolf ended with the words "Thank you for the great time."
