The Sham Shui Po Bishop’s Hill Service Reservoir, a pre-war water construction completed at the beginning of the last century, was nearly demolished earlier. After extensive media reports, it caused pressure from public opinion and was approved by the Antiquities Advisory Committee (Gu Zi (Membership) was approved as a "first-class historic building". Some members also suggested that it should be made into a "one of Asia's major tourist attractions."
However, not every historical building can be included in the plan. When the society focuses on the conservation of the service reservoir, many historical buildings that have been rated or not have been demolished or destroyed, and several projects have been abandoned and rented. Flow mark.
The government that had promised that "conservation" and "development" would go hand in hand, obviously chose "development" among these two goals, and did not understand the significance of "conservation" to Hong Kong as a whole.
The Bishop Mountain Service Reservoir was approved by the Ancient Consultative Council as a first-class historical building.
