The Food and Health Bureau issued a mandatory test announcement late at night regarding the incident. 22 specified places were included in the mandatory test. The 13-year-old girl who returned to Hong Kong from Macau was listed as a close contact of the confirmed case of the Macau variant virus. She had lived in Hong Kong, and the seven specified places she had visited were also included in the compulsory testing announcement.
Those who have completed the COVID-19 vaccination are also required to undergo the above-mentioned compulsory testing.

The government will add a mobile sampling station at the bottom of the MTR bridge at Kwai Tai House in Kwai Fong Estate today to provide free services to residents/workers who are required to undergo compulsory testing.
If the Observatory has issued a strong wind signal or red rainstorm warning signal, mobile sampling stations located outdoors will be closed.
