The municipal council has now decided on a redevelopment statute for this.

Anzing - An attractive place to live and live for all generations: That is one of the goals that the municipality and the municipal council have formulated for the future of Anzing.

For this purpose, the town center (between the parish church and Münchner Strasse) is to be “retained in its function and further strengthened as an economic and community center” over the next few years and decades.

So it is in the justification for the redevelopment statute, which the municipal council decided in its meeting on Tuesday evening.

Several goals are listed in it.

Objectives of the redevelopment of the town center

• Preservation and further development of the site plan while maintaining the typical village scale.

• Expansion of an identity-creating town center between the parish church and Münchner Strasse, taking into account the structures that have evolved over time, such as

B. agricultural yards, gable-independent building positions, streets and paths etc.

• The public spaces are to be renovated and upgraded, as far as possible barrier-free is to be ensured, quality of stay is to be created.

• Monuments and buildings that characterize the townscape are to be preserved and, if necessary, to be renovated.

• Local area and building potential, such as

B. Open spaces, vacant lots, underused former agricultural properties are to be used and to be preferred to structural development on the outskirts of the settlement.

In the past few years, the municipality of Anzing has worked out and collected ideas and suggestions together with citizens, the local design working group and the municipal council.

One of these is currently being implemented: A pedestrian traffic light is being permanently installed on Högerstrasse, at the level of the Kirchenwirt.

Mayor Kathrin Alte expects this to go into operation by the start of school in September at the latest.

The municipality of Anzing bears the costs of around 150,000 euros;

In addition, according to Alte, there are around 8,000 to 10,000 euros for a photovoltaic system that is being built on the nearby community center.

The traffic lights are to be supplied with electricity via this system.

“Anzing can only develop further if the community and the residents work together.

In the study area of the grown street village along Högerstrasse, there are “noteworthy structural, traffic, economic and functional deficits”, writes the municipality of Anzing in the justification for the redevelopment statute.

These are to be improved in the next few years - both in public and private areas.

In order to motivate property owners to take redevelopment measures, the municipality is planning a municipal funding program "with which the citizens will also benefit from the urban development funds from 2022", announced Mayor Alte.

However, no property owner can be obliged to renovate or have to participate in measures, she adds.

The total area of 13.03 hectares has now been given the official designation "Redevelopment areas - town center" with the statutes.

This extends from Erdinger Straße (from Friedrich-Georg-Straße) in the north along Högerstraße to the transition to Zornedinger Straße or the beginning of the Parkweg in the south.

The Amselweg has now been included.

The implementation takes place in cooperation with the planning office commissioned by the municipality Plankreis and with the citizens.

Alte: "Anzing can only develop further if the community and the residents work together."

Anzing wants to apply for Tempo 30 in Högerstrasse

In order to make the town center more attractive and also safer, according to the mayor, the municipality of Anzing is planning an application to the responsible authorities (district office, state building office) to introduce a speed limit of 30 km / h on Högerstraße (state road 2081) - planned in the area between the town hall and traffic lights.

In its statement on the redevelopment statute, the municipality of Anzing writes: "A large volume of traffic at high speeds on Högerstrasse and Erdinger Strasse is a burden on the residential area and the quality of stay in the central area."

A beautification association also wants to establish itself in Anzing.
