The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa organized today 18 catering controls against bakeries and various commercial activities.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa, Eng. Hamidi Al-Khalil, told SANA reporter that the seizures included Al-Sanamayn Automatic Bakery for violating poorly-made bread production, and 9 private bakeries for violating working hours and underweight, in addition to two seizures of unknown materials (foodstuffs and vegetable oils).
He explained that the Consumer Protection Patrols also seized a car loaded with detergents in violation of placing removable labels, as the quantity was seized at the branch of the Syrian Trading Corporation, indicating that the seizures also included a restaurant with a violation of selling unsealed meat and food stores classified as tourist with a violation of unknown materials with the presence of rotten vegetables, within a joint patrol. with the Tourism Directorate.
According to Al-Khalil, the patrols pulled two samples of frying oil from the market for duly analyzing them in the laboratories and ensuring that they conformed to the specifications.
