Taufkirchen

- 17 citizens sent in pictures for the competition “My favorite place in the community”, including a few children. The favorite places of the people of Taufkirchen are tourist attractions such as the moated castle and many natural places. The competition was initiated by Forum Inklusion, the idea came from Gabi Leythäuser. Everything was organized by City Hall employee Caro Stanglmayer, sponsors were the veterinary practice Aigner, the wine shop Kratzer, the VR-Bank Taufkirchen-Dorfen and the community.

When selecting the winning photos, the lay committee relied on its gut instinct, revealed Christian Aigner as its spokesman at the award ceremony. The winner was seven-year-old Viktoria Philipp, who photographed a climbing tree on a brick field. She received an annual ticket for the forest pool, a towel, sweets and a lens that mimics the look of an insect's eye when looking through it.

Karin Geiger outed the “idyllic pebble beach of the Vils near Winkl” as her favorite place and thus became the winner among the adults. She didn't want to reveal exactly where the spot is, only that her dog likes him as much as she does. Consolation prizes of equal value went to Charlotte Uzarewicz for her “large silver willow in Geislbach”, Ingrid Drexler for pictures “from Solching to the watershed”, Christa Wagmüller for the “romantically situated Loaner Weiher”, Tanja Mischke for “Kirchlerner Wald”, and Gerti Bart for “Vacation in the forest pool or training in the Bürgerpark”, Hanja Haji for “on a discovery tour in the forest”, Sabrina Maier for her “unique moated castle”, Irmgard Bitzer for “pure tranquility in Moosen on the frozen Vils”, Gerti Stampfer for “The natural oasis between Town hall and moated castle ",Roswitha Schäffner for “S'Bankerl behind the forest at the cemetery”, Nadine Mutlitz for “Enjoying nature in the cemetery forest”, Alessandrao Vinciguerra for the “wintry Kirchlerner Bach am Weidenhain”, Yvonne Philipp for “fairy tale forest between Gelbach and Oslbach”, Barbara Tremmel for one “View of Unterhofkirchen between Holzlehen and Uttenberg and Lukas and Christoph Mutlitz for their father-son favorite place“ Wheelies in the Bürgerpark ”.

Mayor Stefan Haberl was on the jury and thanked the participants. Former Mayor Franz Hofstetter said they wanted to give food for thought in the public sector. There are so many beautiful places in the region.
