The Israeli occupation forces renewed their artillery bombardment of several towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency stated that the occupation forces targeted with 155 mm artillery shells the Sahel Al-Khiam area and the town of Dis Al-Khairiba in Marjayoun, while two shells later fell in the outskirts of the town of Rashaya Al-Fukhar, Hasbaya district, targeting the road leading to Al-Mari and north of Naqoura.
In addition, the enemy artillery targeted with heavy artillery shells the vicinity of the hill of Irmiz, north of the town of Naqoura.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Al-Manar TV channel indicated that large fires broke out in the olive groves and oaks as a result of the occupation shells in the vicinity of Rashaya Al-Fukhar in southern Lebanon, and that the people called for help to put them out.
The National News Agency had earlier indicated that a loud explosion was heard in the towns and villages of Marjayoun, and sirens were heard in the colony of northern occupied Palestine.
Media affiliated with the Israeli enemy reported that explosions occurred in the vicinity of the Kiryat Shmona settlement, and that sirens sounded there.
