The electric power generation facility in Suwayda, rural Al-Hasakah Governorate, went out of service due to an emergency technical failure on a 230 kV voltage circuit.
The General Director of Al-Hasakah Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar Al-Akla, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the repair operations of the technical fault were started by the workshops of the generation facility in Al-Suwaydiyah and the workers of the Operation Department to return the station to service as soon as possible, as it is the only source of feeding the service lines that are excluded from the electrical rationing.
Al-Okla explained that the company’s workshops are continuing to repair the emergency malfunction of the tension transmission line connecting the two stations of Tabqa and Al-Abwab in order to feed the neighborhoods of the city of Hasakah, especially since the line went out of service due to an emergency failure on one of the gas stations in the village of Khirbet Al-Tamr, southwest of Al-Hasakah city.
Earlier today, the electrical tension line 230 kV at Tabqa al-Abwab went out of service due to an emergency malfunction in the western countryside of Hasaka.
