Twitter has tested new notifications that tell the user if their account is suspended, locked, or in read-only mode without allowing interaction due to a violation of the platform's rules.
According to The Verge, such notifications will appear in the form of a bar at the top of a list, as this test came after the platform received comments and opinions from users who realized that their accounts were suspended, locked, or in read-only mode after they tried to tweet or follow new accounts.
The new notifications will inform the user of the status of his account and provide him with some additional instructions when his account is suspended or locked, but in the event that the account is permanently suspended, the owner can file an objection to that.
