2021-08-04T15:28:36.998Z

DECRYPTION - These last days, the demonstrations of violence of the anti-sanitary pass are accentuated. As the protests harden, elected officials and health professionals are regularly the target of death threats.

Little by little, the movement is gaining momentum. Saturday July 31, 204,090 people beat the pavement throughout France to protest against the extension of the health pass. The previous weekends, 114,000 and then 161,000 opponents had already gathered in the street, and new rallies are planned for Saturday, August 7. Even in the heart of summer, nothing seems to be able to stop a social movement which, over the days, swells… and hardens. Last Saturday, 76 people were arrested on the sidelines of the various processions, including 26 in Paris. Two men were sentenced to suspended prison sentences in the wake of the Paris Criminal Court, for beatings and insults against a person holding public authority.
