The outer rain belt associated with tropical storm Lu Bi is affecting the coast of Guangdong.
At 5 o'clock in the morning, Lu Bi gathered about 70 kilometers south-southeast of Shantou, and is expected to move north or north-northeast at a speed of about 12 kilometers per hour, crossing the coastal waters of Guangdong, near the east of Guangdong to the coast of Fujian.
The Observatory predicts that the weather in Hong Kong will be generally cloudy today with occasional showers, thunderstorms and squally winds. Later, there will be more rain in some areas.
The maximum temperature is about 30 degrees.
The wind moderated to a fresh west wind, and then turned to a southwest wind, with strong winds occasionally blowing offshore and on high ground.
There are swells in the sea.

The Transport Department stated that in order to cope with the mandatory inspection arrangement, the first lane on the left of Shek Kip Mei Street between Perwick Street and Tai Po Road is still closed.
