The instant messaging platform “WhatsApp” has introduced a “one-time view” feature, which deletes photos or videos from the chat after the recipient opens it.
According to The Verge, the founder and CEO of the social networking site, Mark Zuckerberg, confirmed that the feature is experimental and will be for about a month and will be in service.
On how to use the feature, the site explained that when sending an image or video, the user can view it once by clicking on one button located to the left of the send button, and after the recipient opens the media message, it will be deleted so that the recipient will be able to see that it is a vanishing image.
The company has recently added new features to its messaging app to attract more users.
