The Ministry of Education issued instructions for enrollment and admission to the first secondary grade for public, professional, private, and seized public secondary schools and the like for the 2021-2022 school year.
In a circular, a copy of which was received by SANA, the ministry set the date of enrollment and admission from Monday 8-9-2021 until Tuesday 31-8-2021 for students who succeeded in the basic education certificate or the Sharia preparatory certificate for the 2021 session.
Students born in 2005, 2006 and 2007 who obtained specific degrees in the basic education certificate, ranging from 1484 in the countryside of Raqqa to 2,159 degrees in the countryside of Lattakia, and in the preparatory legal certificate between 2010 in the countryside of Raqqa and 2925 in the countryside of Lattakia, are accepted in the first grade of the general secondary “scientific or literary” .

With regard to registration in vocational schools, the ministry pointed out that all successful students from all births admitted to general secondary education are accepted, in addition to all students born in 2002, 2003 and 2004, regardless of their total grades, and all students born in 2005, 2006 and 2007 who obtained specific grades in The basic education certificate or the Sharia preparatory certificate without the grades required for registration in the first general secondary school.
The ministry pointed out that the male or female student is registered in the governorate from which he obtained the certificate of “basic education” preparatory Sharia “excluding students in the governorates of Raqqa and Idlib, so that those who obtained the certificate from city schools are registered in the city schools, and those who obtained the certificate in rural schools are registered in rural schools Country.
The ministry indicated that for students in the governorates of Raqqa and Idlib, they are registered in the first year of secondary school in the governorate in which the student resides, according to the degree specified for registration in his original governorate.
