The activities of the seventh day of the Citadel and Wadi Festival concluded with an artistic concert in the restaurants street in Marmarita, which was revived by the artist Raymond Maamari, in the presence of a large audience of Wadi Nadari residents and delegations from several governorates.
The concert included a violin performance by Shadi Tamour and a group of national and folk songs.
In a meeting with SANA between "Jean Deeb" from the people of Marmarita, the festival reflected a beautiful image of the region, calling on the expatriates to return and enjoy the nature of the picturesque area and its tourism components.
Expatriate “Jad Salloum” said that the festival has become an opportunity for us to meet every year with friends and loved ones, as it has become an important tourist situation in the valley.
Mrs. “Zeina Hanna” saw that the various celebrations and events that the Wadi region is witnessing in which people, old and young, gather, carry a lot of meanings of love for Syria, which is recovering.
“Faisal Fayyad” from Deir ez-Zor governorate said that the festival is rich and varied and reflected a beautiful picture of life in the region.
