China announced today that it will provide two billion doses of vaccines against the Corona virus to countries around the world during the current year.
"China will provide two billion doses of Covid-19 vaccines to the world," Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a letter to the first meeting of the International Forum for Cooperation on Corona Virus Vaccines, the Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted Chinese President Xi Jinping as saying, adding that "it will provide 100 million dollars to the Kovacs program during this year."
According to the World Meters website, the total number of coronavirus infections in China is 93,374, while the total number of deaths has reached 4,636.
