Wang Xueling, director of the Budget and Tax Policy Group of the Office of the Financial Secretary, said that there is no plan to allow citizens to switch platforms to receive the next issue of consumer coupons.

Wang Xueling said on a commercial TV program today (5th) that she noticed that the Tap & Go system had system instability during the first two days of distributing consumer coupons. However, it has improved recently and hopes that the public will give operators another opportunity.
She pointed out that at the beginning of the consumer voucher program, the public no longer wanted to switch to the platform midway. One of the citizens might be able to switch to the platform because of the discount, which may not be fair to their own platform; the current system may not support it, and the uncertainty is high.
In addition, the Director-General of the Consumer Council, Huang Fengxian, stated that as of 5 pm yesterday, a total of 60 complaints about consumer coupons had been received, 31 of which involved individual platforms.
Among the 31 complaints mentioned above, Tap & Go accounted for more than half, with 16 cases.
