Today, Iraqi forces arrested a leader of the terrorist organization "ISIS" during an operation north of Baghdad.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced in a statement that "during a qualitative operation, the Counter-Terrorism Service arrested one of the leaders of the (ISIS) gangs in the so-called Wilayat North of Baghdad," explaining that he confessed during interrogation that he had carried out a number of terrorist operations against the security forces and citizens. .
Rasoul added: The arrestee also admitted during the investigation the presence of quantities of weapons in Tarmiyah district that were found by the agency.
