Smutrich: "Corona eruption - following the Pride Parade"

The chairman of the Religious Zionist faction claimed on the podium in the Knesset plenum that the parade, held at the end of June, was the sole cause of the fourth wave of epidemic morbidity.

The chairman of the Religious Zionist faction, MK Bezalel Smutrich, claimed last night (Wednesday) in the Knesset plenum that the Pride Parade held in June in Tel Aviv began the outbreak of the fourth wave of the Corona virus.

Smutrich did not link in his remarks parallel mass events held over the summer to the re-emergence of the virus.

Speaking at the plenary, Smutrich went on to describe the parade as "a huge contagion party" as well as "a big riot there in Tel Aviv," adding that "no one has the courage to say it because it is not politically correct."
