Three people died and a fourth was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in Savoie in the crash of a tourist plane that had taken off earlier from Loire-Atlantique, the prefecture said.

The accident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. in the town of Saint-Colomban-des-Villards, on the asphalt of the departmental road that leads to the Glandon pass, said firefighters, alerted by witnesses.

Ejected when the aircraft crashed, which came from a Loire-Atlantique flying club, the fourth occupant of the aircraft was evacuated by the Modane CRS helicopter to the Lyon University Hospital.
According to mountain rescue services, it is a young woman whose age has not been communicated.
No information on the other three victims has yet been revealed.
Three people, witnesses to the accident, were also taken care of by the emergency services after being shocked.
In total, thirty-three firefighters and 21 devices were engaged in the rescue.
The aircraft "
