Within 4 days: more than a quarter of a million Israelis were vaccinated in the third dose

262,563 Israelis were vaccinated in the third dose against the corona virus, within four days of the start of the operation, the Ministry of Health announced today (Thursday).
Also, 381,000 appointments have already been booked at the HMOs for the vaccine.
This is 21% of the population eligible for the third vaccine we were vaccinated from Sunday to yesterday, which includes those aged 60 and over who have passed five months since receiving the second vaccine as well as those who have been vaccinated.
Yesterday alone, 80,166 people were vaccinated in the third dose.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health updated that 3,421 people had been diagnosed as verified in Corona in the last day, out of 887,513 tests, so that 3.28% of the subjects were found to be positive.
The number of serious patients is 241, including 51 respirators.
In addition, the death toll from the virus crossed 6,500 yesterday, and currently stands at 6,503 people.

According to the Bible, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett today called on citizens eligible for the third vaccine to go out and get vaccinated.
"In the next two to three weeks, those over the age of 60 who have not yet been vaccinated are at a six-fold higher risk than those who are vaccinated for the third time and five days have passed since their third vaccination," Bennett warned, adding that " .
"Do not go out to crowded places, do not be with people who may be verified, if you see the grandchildren then outside, in the open air, with masks. We have to get through these two weeks until you are vaccinated," he instructed.
