A young man fatally stabs his brother in Bagnolet

An altercation between two brothers, aged in their twenties, turned into drama, Thursday afternoon, in Bagnolet.

The oldest was fatally injured by a stabbing weapon.

The youngest was arrested by the police from the Montreuil police station, in the town of Bagnolet.

An investigation was opened for "intentional homicide", specifies the prosecutor's office of Bobigny, this Friday.

The men of the sub-directorate of the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis are seized of the file.

According to our information, the emergency services intervened shortly before 4 p.m., in the Malassis district, in Bagnolet, for a brawl.

The dispute was between two brothers.

"They lived together," said the prosecution.

The assault took place "in the building of their residence, not necessarily in their apartment", continues the prosecution.

Stabbing

Several blows were given.

"One stabbed his elder brother several times," said a police source.

Wounds were noted, "in particular on the level of the thorax and on the skull", specifies the parquet floor of Bobigny.
