After all, annual events such as the solstice celebration had to be canceled due to the corona, said chairman Martin Auserbauer at the general assembly.
There is also no fire brigade ball again.
And the date for the inauguration of the new fire engine is in the stars.
The armed forces currently have 60 active and 119 passive members. "It was a turbulent year with our companion Corona," said commander Christian Kronseder. Two days after the previous general assembly there was the first lockdown. A hygiene concept was then forged.
Kronseder paid great respect to the whole team for the smooth implementation: "Move out with FFP2 masks, no beer and no debriefing after the operations." or numerous trees that they had to remove from the streets. 303 men had been on duty for around 361 hours, day and night, for which Kronseder praised his men. The exercises could be started again in the spring. Overall, the number of hours worked was manageable. 125 men completed 163 hours of practice.
The Mooseners are proud of their new vehicle LF 20 KAT S. Without his deputy Sepp Pfanzelt and his fellow commanders from Inning, who received the same vehicle, it would not have worked, said Kronseder. “Each of us invested at least 350 hours in equipping the vehicle.” In November, the men picked it up in Ulm.
Mayor Stefan Haberl congratulated everyone and asked them to advertise the fire brigade in the circle of friends. “This is the only way to keep the club going.” District fire inspector Richard Obermaier also praised the Moosener. "It's brutal where you are deployed everywhere." He has seldom seen a fire brigade that is so well equipped, has two new cars. The daily alarm security and camaraderie were also good. But "you are overaged", he said and emphasized the importance of youngsters and a good mix.
The commanding officer was pleased that Willi Appelmann was a newcomer to be welcomed.
In the subsequent elections, Commander Kronseder and Deputy Pfanzelt as well as Chairman Auserbauer were confirmed.
The latter's vice-president, Robert Schuster, did not run for office after twelve years.
The 27-year-old Andreas Sterr became his successor.
The other members of the Board of Management were again expressed their trust: Matthias Groll remains the treasurer, Manfred Geißler vice-treasurer, Stefan Prey secretary, Bernhard Sterr auditor and Siegfried Stachl, vice-auditor.
Martin Kronseder became the new shop steward.
He replaces Hans "Mecki" Lechner.
