Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is trying very hard to constantly instill a heartfelt "together-miracle" atmosphere on the government he heads.

For the past eight weeks he has switched to using plural language - we have done, we have decided, we have approved, and while a stark contrast to his predecessor, he has been generously scattering credits everywhere.

Every weekend, he uploads to the networks a video thanking ministers and ministers for their work, and at the beginning of the weekly government meetings he makes sure to add words of praise for the common harmony. "Oh, we, the Minister of Finance, me and all of us, are bringing the state budget proposal to a vote," he said.

As a prime minister with 6 seats, in a narrow coalition in which everyone has a balance sheet, Bennett has no choice but to run a government on a cooperative model;

But he takes the concept of "together" to the end, with touches of poison from the company and the morale of Rashgad in the Scouts. There were crises, there were gaps, but apart from the battle for the health budget and the farmers' protest that made headlines, everything closed in industrial silence. .

Veterans of the political system have had a hard time remembering whether there is a precedent for the budget and law of arrangements that have passed so easily in government - without contributing even a single finger against. This was one of the two strategic goals for which the government was formed, the first of which is, of course, Netanyahu's move, which will free the economy from the crippling election economy of the past three years. But in the background of the comedy melody of budget formation there is a common political interest: almost all coalition partners, enthusiastic about their arrival or return to power, are interested in a safety net of stability, for at least two years.

The real battle for the budget, in the Knesset, is still ahead of them, and it will not be easy.

But in the meantime, even there they went on a summer break in a group atmosphere with a significant achievement.

After a series of parliamentary embarrassments, the coalition ended the first session with a sweeping victory over the opposition in the election of representatives to the Judiciary, Dayan and Kadim Election Commission, which ousted the Likud and the ultra-Orthodox from their traditional positions of influence.

The leaders of the coalition, Idit Silman and Boaz Toporovsky, were photographed as a souvenir and, like disciplined trainees, praised like the prime minister the unity of the goals and the "united boxing."

Bennett makes a considerable effort to brand the togetherness as a hallmark of the government, but in the main event it faces - almost all of his partners disappear, and are absent and he manages the Corona / Delta crisis mostly on his own. As revealed in "Here", neither Yair Lapid nor Avigdor Lieberman have bothered themselves for even one discussion of the Corona cabinet to date. Both sent representatives and were updated and a host of other principled and evasive excuses that find it difficult to justify the lack of interest of two such senior leaders in the largest health, economic and social crisis in the history of the State of Israel.

Even if they have complete confidence in the prime minister and in the decisions of the ministers and the professional ranks, the absence of Lapid and Lieberman from the Corona cabinet - certainly when they start talking about closure - conveys contempt for the severity of the situation and especially disconnection from the public. The issues on the table are weighty, touching on human life, and affect millions of parents and children and hundreds of thousands of business owners and the self-employed. And they give up the right, and also the duty, by law, to be inside the room. One can cautiously assume that if God forbid it was a military operation or a security incident, they would not dare to attend * any * meeting of the political-security cabinet.

Even within the Corona cabinet there is not a particularly harmonious wind blowing and the Prime Minister does not get full backing from his partners in the struggle.

Last week, when he called on the youth to get vaccinated en masse, the public debates of the Ministry of Health with Education Minister Yifat Shasha Bitton about the vaccines in the schools disrupted his message.

This week, it was Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz who disapproved of restrictions and closures, just as the Prime Minister's Office began to train them in public opinion, and also shook off Bennett's firm and violent style towards the non-vaccinated, a key pillar of his crisis management strategy.

While Bennett devotes most of his time to the Delta, all the other ministers are busy with other things as well. The health minister has found time this week to launch a program that will facilitate gender reassignment processes. Lieberman was completely immersed in budget discussions, Lapid is planning a historic trip to Morocco, the Minister of Justice, Gideon Saar, hardly makes a sound in the discourse on the plague and is immersed in legislation and the ministry. The Minister of Transportation, Merav Michaeli, who is facing a Ben Gurion Airport crisis, is moving away from the canceled flight schedule in favor of public transportation and air-conditioned trains. Only Defense Minister Bnei Gantz is actively involved in managing the crisis. The one who shows loyalty and really backs Bennett is his partner, Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked, who is interviewed every evening in the studios with government messages.

The Bennett-Walpid government was formed under the illusion of the first vaccines that created a false sense that the corona was behind us.

The Delta has changed reality, becoming the founding event of the government, but its seniors have not yet turned the record and they are leaving Bennett alone in the arena.

Occasional polls reveal that there is already a process of constant biting with satisfaction from the government, with all due respect to "Together-Miracle", and to the distribution of credits, they prefer not to be signed with him for the failures.

Lieberman and Lapid have already announced in the wake of the storm that they will begin attending Corona Cabinet meetings.

As the crisis worsens and the gloomy predictions about the closure grow, it becomes more difficult for them to hide and evade.

Bennett is a weak public prime minister in the first place - and in order to gain the public's trust in restrictions and guidelines, he must get a shot of trust and backing out of the common house.
