Carnage on the roads: A 10-year-old boy was killed in an accident in the Beit Shemesh area, 7 were lightly-moderately injured
Among the casualties in the accident, which occurred on Route 38 near Givat Yeshayahu and Srigim, were two children aged 6 and 9 who were moderately injured in their upper body.
All the wounded were evacuated by military helicopter, after some of them were rescued from the vehicles

A 10-year-old boy was killed today (Friday) in a car accident between two vehicles on Road 38, near Givat Yeshayahu and Sarigim.
Seven other people were lightly to moderately injured in the accident, and were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital by military helicopter.
Among the other injured in the incident, there are three who were moderately injured, including a 30-year-old man who was injured in the limbs, and two children aged 6 and 9 who were injured in the upper body.
Four other people were lightly injured.

"It was a serious accident between two vehicles," said Kobi Leizerovich, a senior MDA medic who was called to the scene. "The child who was fatally injured was in the back seat of one of the vehicles.
We rescued him unconscious and suffering from a severe multi-system injury, his injury was very severe and after medical tests and field treatment we had to determine his death.
"" Some of the other wounded walked around the scene and some were rescued from the vehicles by emergency forces.
"We provided them with primary medical care in the field and they were evacuated by a military helicopter that landed on the spot and by MDA ambulances to the hospital when their condition was" moderate and light, "he added.
